About the Programme

M. Sc Medical Pharmacology is a three-year post-graduate programme aimed at equipping students with the core knowledge of the principles and practice of pharmacology. The subjects covered under this programme include tissue and organism pharmacology, cell and receptor pharmacology, and pharmacology of the nervous system.

The curriculum of the programme imparts understanding about the essentials of drug discovery and researches aiming to understand the treatment procedures of human diseases. Furthermore, it sheds light on the analytical model to provide a study of rehabilitation under the influence of drugs/medicine.

Students' under this programme, gain hands-on industry experience in Sharda's Parent Hospital. Final assessments are made based on their performances. Graduates of this programme will be able to contribute to evaluation, planning and implementation at different levels of the healthcare system.

  • MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BUMS / B.Pharma / BVSc / B.Sc. Life Sciences / B.Sc. Biology /B.Sc. Bio Chemestry / B.Sc. Nursing / BMLT / BPT / B.Tech. (Bio-Tech.) with minimum 55% marks.
For International Students The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
