Event Description

An event Plantation Drive was organized by Environment Club, Department of Students welfare in collaboration with NCC and School of Business Studies Sharda University to create awareness about the importance of Environment in the life of living organisms at Saraswati  Shishu Mandir school village Gesupur , Distt - G B Nagar. Also dental screening camp was also conducted for the students and residents of the village.
The event included planting of more than 200 saplings of neem, tulsi , eucaluptus etc  in th premises of Sarawati shishu mandir school. The plantation was done by the volunteers of Sharda University including students, NCC cadets. After the plantation general oral health awareness session was conducted for the same by the dental students of Sharda university. Person who were diagnosed with any infirmity were properly explained about how to correct the problem. Free distribution of masks and stationary was also done. 

Patients were also provided an oral health education (through audio-visual aids) by the attending dentists and NCC cadets were encouraged and motivated to maintain their oral health and how to preserve the nature of the planet.

The event was organized and conducted keeping proper social distancing norms in mind.
