MENSTURAL HYGIENE DAY
Menstruation is bleeding from the vagina that happens about once a month, as a normal part of the menstrual cycle. It is also known as having a Period. Every month, a female body prepares for pregnancy. If no pregnancy occurs, the uterus, or womb sheds its lining. The menstrual blood is partly blood and partly tissue from inside the uterus. It passes out from the body through the vagina. Menstruation and menstrual practice still face many cultural, social and religious restrictions which are still big barrier in the path of menstrual hygiene management. In many parts of the country especially in rural areas girls are not prepared and aware about menstruation so they face many problems and challenges in their school, home, and work places. This activity was conducted on 27 May 2020 . It was conducted through digital mode due to lockdown.
Three competitions were conducted on this occasion:-
1) Card Making.
2) Article / Essay Writing.
3) Poster Making.
