Event Description

It was an event organized to orient the First year Student to the life of Sharda University. The Event was opened by the star cast of Banjo Comprising of – Mr. Ritesh Deshmukh and Ms. Nargish Fakri. It saw a participation of approximately 1,500 students. There were performances of Dance, Music and Drama which kept the crowed attracted. The main attraction of event was Mr. and Ms. Freshers which was won by Mr. Parakh Nayak and Ms. Simran Chopra. The new students were welcomed with a blast by their beloved seniors. Even after so many obstacles on the way due to the weather conditions, the organizing team managed to give the best welcome to the Freshers.
The event started off with dance Performance where the Freshers grooved on tracks from various genres ranging from Bollywood to western Nepali & Gujrati and even Bhangra & Bangali Dance. After this there was a skit performed by the dramatics department which was an absolute masterpiece and a delight to watch.
International students gave a glimpse into their life back home by representing their country through dance performances
The event also ventured the promotion of Banjo Film feat. Ritesh Deshmukh & Nargis Fakhri (Lead Actor and Actress) from the movie
