Sharda University organized The World Bioprotection Summit-India 2022

The World Bioprotection Summit-India 2022 was organized by Sharda School of Agricultural Sciences, Sharda University, in association with The World Bioprotection Forum on December 1, 2022. The summit offered a global forum for cooperation, alliance-building, and the promotion of business and academia. The conference brought together representatives from business, academia, research, investors, regulators, policymakers, governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and IPM practitioners to talk about the pressing need to provide chemical-free crop protection options. The honoree was Dr. HP Singh, a former deputy director general (horticulture) for the Indian Council of Agricultural Sciences. The summit's leader was Dr. Minshad Ansari, Dean of Research at Sharda University, Professor Bhuvanesh Kumar, presided over the opening session. The summit was organized by Professor HS Gaur and Professor Dolly Wattal Dhar of Sharda School of Agricultural Sciences. The coordinator was Dr. Uzma Manzoor. During the summit, exhibitions were planned by more than ten different worldwide industries. The summit attracted 450 delegates and students. The discussion was on bio-pesticides for the ecologically secure and long-term control of diseases and pests. It was discussed how to register in both national and international systems. The need for Integrated Pest Management and decreasing the usage of dangerous chemical pesticides were emphasized.
