The School of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSR) primarily imparts medical education of the highest standards to its MBBS and post graduate students and students of related biological sciences. SMSR envisions an ambience of excellence, inspiring value-based education, research and development.

The School of Medical Sciences & Research, Sharda University is proposing a 5-day faculty development programme on ‘Insight to Resesarch Methodology. The FDP will offer a platform where renowned academicians and educationists will discuss epidemiological methodology, biostatistical principles, health services research, and help you to design and develop your future research projects. Thus, this FDP is aimed to train faculty from medical fields to understand the key concepts in the responsible conduct of research and be able to conduct research.

Objectives of the FDP:

To be able to formulate a research question.
To select the appropriate Study Design.
To Understand various Statistical methods (including SPSS)
How to write a Research paper
How to write a grant proposal according to the guidelines of the potential funding agencies.
