CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates 600-Bed Sharda Care Health City Hospital

Greater Noida, March 8, 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the 600-bed Sharda Care Health City Super Speciality Hospital at Sharda University, a major leap forward in delivering advanced, affordable healthcare. Developed at a cost of ₹500 crore, the facility will offer cutting-edge treatment for critical illnesses, including cancer, while creating over 1,000 jobs.

With this expansion, Sharda Hospitals capacity has risen to 1,200 beds, significantly reducing the need for patients to travel to AIIMS or other states for specialized care. CM Yogi praised the public-private partnership model, highlighting the rise in medical colleges across the state—from 12 to 40—driven by increased investment in health infrastructure.

He also emphasized government initiatives like the ‘Arogya Mela, Ayushman Bharat scheme, and ₹5 lakh health insurance for frontline workers, reinforcing the commitment to accessible healthcare for all citizens, especially in rural areas.
