78th Independence Day Celebration

On Thursday, 15th August 2024, Sharda University celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The day began with the assembly of students, faculty, and staff on the lawn in front of Block-45, where the NCC Cadets presented an impressive Guard of Honour. This was followed by the hoisting of the national flag, accompanied by the resounding notes of the National Anthem.

The celebrations continued in the Anand Swaroop Auditorium, where dignitaries delivered inspiring speeches, reflecting on the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reminding us of our duties to uphold the values of liberty and unity. The event also featured cultural programs that highlighted India's rich heritage and the talents of Sharda University's students.

The morning concluded with the distribution of tea and sweets, creating a warm and communal atmosphere. The active participation of the entire Sharda University community made this Independence Day a truly memorable and impactful event, reinforcing our collective commitment to the ideals of independence and national pride.
