Dr. Pankaj Taneja is renowned Scientist and Academician in the field of Cell Signalling and Cancer prevention. He did his Masters and Ph.D. in Toxicology from Hamdard University in 2003. He went for his postdoctoral in Johns Hopkins University, USA in School of Public Health. He worked in Nrf2 transcription factor as antioxidant regulator. Later on he shifted to Wake Forest University as Scientist and worked in the area of Dmp1 gene as novel biomarker for Lung and Breast Cancer. He developed the pathway of Dmp1-Arf-P53 signaling and LOH analysis in human Lung and Breast Cancer. He came back to India with award of prestigious Ramalingaswamy Fellowship and grant in in Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Science, DRDO where he developed molecular pathways novel radioprotectors for defence personals. Professor Taneja has around 40 publications in reputed National and International Journals including Cancer Cell, Oncogene, Mutation Research, Cancer Letters and Toxicology. He also has the privilege review member of various Scientific Societies and Board including American Association for Cancer Research, Environmental Mutagen Society, Indian National Science Congress etc.He is currently Professor Head of in Department of Life Science, Sharda University.
