About the Programme
MD in Radiodiagnosis at Sharda University is a three-year programme is the study of the medical science branch that focuses on the use of radiation, ultrasound and magnetic resonance in medicinal practices. The programme is related to disciplines of anatomy, physiology, pathology and interventional procedures. The programme deals with allergic contrast reactions & helps students acquire good basic knowledge in the various subspecialties of radiology like Neuro-radiology, Uro-radiology, Vascular-radiology, GI-radiology, Musculoskeletal, Interventional Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Pediatric Radiology and Mammography.
The programme prepares students to work collaboratively, evaluate data, interpret results, think vitally, draw logical conclusions and make composite decisions. The curriculum of the programme gives students the opportunities to devise plausible solutions to real-life situations in an active healthcare environment. Some of the topics included in the MD (Radiodiagnosis)curriculum are Respiratory System, Genito-Urinary System, Musculoskeletal System, Cardiovascular Radiology, Neuro-Radiology and Radiology Emergency Medicine.
