About the Programme
MD in TB and Chest programme at Sharda University is a three-year postgraduate programme designed in a way to train the next generation of medical leaders in pulmonary and critical care medicine. The programme aims to prepare students in internal medicine primarily specialising in preventing, diagnosing and treating conditions that affect lungs, bronchial tubes and respiratory system including the nose, pharynx and throat.
The curriculum is a blend of theoretical and practical components of the study. The goal of Post graduation (MD) programme in TB and Chest is to produce competent medical physicians who recognise the health needs of patients having chest complaints and carry out
professional obligations ethically along with having all the competencies required into chest medicine. The expert and renowned faculty always ensure that efforts are made towards performing adequate research on respiratory ailments and that students spend sufficient time in addressing pulmonary problems of public health in the country.
