About the Programme

A well-designed public policy and effective governance are crucial for a country to realize its socio-economic objectives. BA programme in Political Science is the University’s endeavor to contribute to the quality of politics and policymaking in an increasingly complex and challenging world. The vision of the centre is to provide an interdisciplinary platform for learning and research on Politics and the field associated with it. The Programme will serve as forum where the academic rigor blends with empirical evidence and the practical experience to promote the knowledge about processes of policymaking, implementation and theoretical understanding of it. The objective is to contribute and provide context relevant policy inputs to the policymakers. Politicians and the citizens. The Programme will serve as a springboard of purposive discourse on effective execution of policies and inculcate the deep analysis and understanding of various theories and contexts of political science.
