About the Programme

BA (Hons) in English literature is an academic program that focuses on the study of literature in the English language, including prose, poetry, drama, and other literary forms. The program covers various periods and movements in World literature. Students study the literary techniques, themes, and historical contexts of literary works, as well as critical approaches to literary analysis. Through close reading and critical writing, students develop analytical, interpretive, and communication skills that are valuable in a variety of professions, including education, writing, publishing, and media.
