The conference will emphasize the theme “Current Trends in Nursing Perspectives: A Leading Pathway to Quality Care”. Nursing is a dynamic field that evolves with time. Nurses across the world overcome incredible challenges to care for their patients and communities. Skilled nurses and midwives are critical in strengthening the health care delivery system which significantly impact the health of women and children globally. Guidelines have been introduced by Indian Nursing Council to standardize the concept of Nurse Practioners in Midwifery (NPM) and Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) to pave the way for safe, high quality long term care to mothers by trained midwives. Overall, in these challenging times Nurse should chart new paths through professional development.

Adequate and effective human resources are critical for people’s health. Evidence- based practice is now widely recognized as the key in improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes. The alliance between nursing education and nursing service (Dual role) is the strength to provide quality care. It facilitates both student learning and quality patient care. Nurse Practioners in Critical Care Nursing (NPCC) is one such specialty that calls for specialized nurses. Technological advancements in critical care call for extra training to equip nurses with specialized skills and knowledge.
