A professional who retired from regular services, after having worked for more than 32 years in corporates. Working for global companies in India and overseas, gained rich & diverse experience, across various industry domains, i.e., IT, Banking, Manufacturing, Petroleum & Retail. Have experience & exposure working in different work culture, as I worked in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe, USA, Canada. Have been managing large programs for global companies, which helped in gaining experience and evolving some of the intra-personal and inter-personal skills, e.g. Team Building, Leadership, Employee motivation, Emotional Intelligence etc. Worked on various positions and handled roles like – Senior Consultant, Project Manager, Program manager, Delivery Manager, Global PMO Head, Transition Manager, Transition Director & Program Director.
Looking back at my professional career journey of over three decades, I get a sense of accomplishment. However, I feel it is now time for me to 'give back to the society', hence I made a decision to transform my role from corporate to academia. I strive to work towards minimizing the industry – academia gap.
Made the decision of joining Sharda School Of business so that I can share my knowledge & experience with young students. This will help the students by having different perspective altogether which is invaluable when they get out of the campus & move into corporate world.
