About

Professor Santhi Narayanan is an accomplished academic and currently serves as the Associate Dean at
Sharda School of Business Studies.
With a strong foundation in law and academia, she began her career practicing law before the Supreme
Court of India, bringing extensive legal expertise to her teaching and research. Over her 16+ years of
experience in teaching postgraduate and undergraduate courses, she has specialized in business,
corporate, and industrial law. As a teacher, she has embraced innovative pedagogies such as flipped
classrooms, interactive learning, and transparent learning assignments to enhance student engagement
and learning outcomes.
Professor Narayanan holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, a law degree (LLB), and
diplomas in Labour Law, Corporate Law, and Personnel Management. She also earned a PhD in Human
Resource Management, reflecting her interdisciplinary academic excellence.
In her administrative roles within the School of Business Studies, she has held various leadership roles
including Program Coordinator - PG Programs, Principal Program Coordinator, and Program Director for
Undergraduate Programs. These roles involved overseeing curriculum development, student
engagement, and academic administration. At the university level, she has managed several key profiles,
including Nodal Officer for the Online Student Grievance Redressal Portal, Member of the Internal
Complaints Committee, faculty coordinator of the Diversity Club, NSS Coordinator, and Member of the
Mentoring Cell.
Professor Narayanan has published chapters indexed in Scopus, authored case studies, and edited a
book. She has also delivered expert lectures at various institutions and conducted teacher training
programs in Shillong. She has developed and delivered e-content for SWAYAM and completed multiple
MOOC certifications through NPTEL. To stay at the forefront of educational advancements, she has
attended numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), continuously updating her knowledge in the
evolving teaching-learning landscape.
Additionally, Professor Narayanan served as an industry mentor for the Industry-linked learning program
at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence under the Delhi Government.
