Her research spans a broad spectrum of geopolitical and national security issues, including the strategic significance of the Indo-Pacific, radicalization trends in Kerala, applications of science and technology in national security, indigenous defense R&D policy in India, and conflict dynamics in Myanmar. In her most recent association with Sarayu Trust Foundation (Sangam Talks), she employed data analytics and visualization tools (Python, Tableau, ArcGIS) to analyze religious demographic shifts and their implications for national security.
Radhika's fieldwork extends beyond India. She has conducted on-ground research in Sri Lanka, exploring anti-Indian sentiments and their historical context through interactions with historians, military officials, and cultural experts. Her travels to Mizoram further deepened her understanding of cross-border ethnic loyalties and their geopolitical significance. Through conferences and publications, she has consistently advocated for an integrated, civilizational approach to Indias neighborhood policy, drawing from historical sea-based and cultural linkages.
She holds a Masters degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Panjab University, where she authored a thesis on "The Geopolitical Relevance of the Indo-Pacific." Over the years, she has contributed extensively to academic and media platforms, offering insights into contemporary geopolitical challenges and strategic affairs.
