Priyambada Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Sharda University. She also taught at Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan. She held various academic and administrative positions at Banasthali Vidyapith. She has completed her M.Phil. in Sociology of Education from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her area of interest includes Sociology of education, Sociology of Gender, and Urban Sociology.
