Dr. Sunil Kumar Jaiswal has a total of 11 years research and 3 years teaching experience. He obtained Ph.D. (Biotechnology) from Kumaun University, Nainital in 2014, and M.Sc. (Biotechnology) from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in 2007. He qualified ICAR-NET in the discipline of Agricultural Biotechnology in 2014. He worked as Research Associate at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora, Uttarakhand from September 2007 to August 2015 and Senior Research Fellow at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi from August 2015 to January 2019. He published 12 research papers in peer reviewed journals, 2 papers in conference proceedings, 3 book chapters, and 12 abstracts in National/International Conferences and Seminars. His area of interest and expertise include Genetics, QTL mapping for kernel iron and zinc content in maize and marker assisted introgression of VTE4, crtRB1 and opaque2 genes for the development of multi-nutrient enriched maize.
