About

Regional planning & development, Geopolitics and RS & GIS are Dr. Somprakash Dhar's main areas of expertise. He earned his Ph.D. and postgraduate degrees from Tripura University (Central). Prior to that, he graduated from Panjab University while living in Chandigarh. 
Dr. Dhar has experience working with a variety of IT & ITES firms, including IBM Daksh, Bartleby Technologies, Competent Synergies, etc. He has also worked in print and television media. Dr. Dhar has participated in research initiatives financed by centralized agencies like DBT and others as a field investigator. He also served as a visiting lecturer and academic counsellor for various colleges and universities. 
Data analytics is one of his most recent areas of interest. Besides Geography, Dr. Dhar enjoys studying and writing about other subjects like Data Science, AI, ML & NLP etc. He published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals and book chapters.
