Dr. C. Mohan has completed his B.E in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, the University of Madras, Hosur in (1999). He completed M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow formerly UPTU., He has done his Ph.D from Sharda University. His areas of interest include Assistive Technologies, Embedded systems, Automation and Robotics.
Dr. C. Mohan working for Sharda Group of Institutions from last 18 year (since August 2004).
Dr. C. Mohan is an exemplary faculty in industrially oriented subjects like Industrial Instrumentation, Industrial Automation and Embedded systems. He has been acting as a catalyst to mobilize research work in the institutions where he has been working.
After having finished his Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rajagopal polytechnic, Gudiyattm in 1993 and did the Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from University of Madras in 1999. Dr. Mohans career started in the industrial field where he worked for more than 4 years in the area of maintenance of CNC machines, maintenance of Analytical Instruments, PLC customer care and servicing, and development of industrial automation oriented projects.
Apart from having the industry experience, Dr. C. Mohan entered into the Academic field and started imparting his knowledge and expertise to the students of the University at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels. Dr. C. Mohan started his association with the Sharda Group of Institutions since 2004 in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in the Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Mathura. Subsequently he got associated with the Electronics & Instrumentation Department as an Assistant Professor, School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University Greater Noida Campus in 2007. He is currently working in the Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineering Department as an Assistant Professor.
He initiated to establish labs like Embedded Systems and Robotics Laboratory in EEE Dept. He also initiated and brought the students in research work. Three students groups have done Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge India Design Contest 2015 (TIICID-2015) projects under his guidance. He was heading an interdisciplinary faculty team for e-Yantra Robotics Teacher Competition 2014-15. The e-Yantra team won 2 Prize in the regional competition. From last one decade, he was taking students outside for project competition and winning prizes. He also organized workshops and seminars. He published papers in International and National Conferences and Journals.
Having good electronics and instrumentation oriented practical skill. He has been able to design and develop embedded systems and automation oriented projects.
