The Two-day event was organized by Culture Society and student council of Sharda University in collaboration with Literary Club, Dance club, Dramatics Club and Fine Arts Club under the guidance of Department of Students Welfare.
The Literary Club organised Just a Minute, Clash of Titans     competition,Dance club organised  Natana War “A Group Dance Competition ,dramatic club   NUKKAD on " Parivarik Rishton ki Ehamiyat"  
MONOLOGUE Act "Kuch ankahi daastan"
along with the Fine Arts Club organized a  Art on Canvas  (Colours of Life)”

Rule Book
GENERAL RULES
All the participants need to carry their registration receipt along-with college ID cards for each event.
Please carry your ID cards at all times during the Festival.
Please reach the venue half an hour before the event starts.
Slot allotment is solely on the discretion of coordinators.
The decision of the judges and referees is final and binding.
Any violation of rules can lead to disqualification at any time.
Alcohol, drugs or use of any such psychedelics would lead to immediate disqualification and further action would be taken.
The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel your participation or any event at any moment.
The rules are not final and are subject to minor changes.
Please confer with the coordinator for any immediate changes that might have been made in the rule

Fine Arts Club
ART ON CANVAS  (Colours of Life)”

Theme of competition 
The theme of the competition “Art on canvas 2021” is “Rang Zindagi Ke”. 
We want to see what this topic inspires in you and how can you implement colours of life on your canvas.

Eligibility
Anyone in age 16 -25 can participate in this competition whether he/she is a school student ,college graduate, working professional, housewife etc .

Judging criteria 
A selection committee will review artwork submissions based on the following criteria: 
Criteria Marks 
• Interpretation of the theme 10 
• Technical skill and creativity 10 
• Originality 10

Media and Technique Requirements 
Students will be provided only with a canvas (10x14 inch). 
They have to take their own colours and brushes.
There is no restriction on which art form and colour he /she is willing to use. 
They can use any art form and colours of their choice It will be there choice to use canvas as landscape or portrait.
Art work can be realistic and abstract.

Time limit
There is no time limit for the competition but participants have to be on time.

Entries and registration fee 
There will be only individual entry. No teams or groups.
There is a registration fee per entry 100INR 

Judging and winners 
A panel of judges will review the art work.
A winner and a runner up will be selected on the basis of above criteria.
Winner will recieve a cash prize of 3000INR
Runner up will recieve a cash prize of 1500INR 
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Deadline for Entries 
All participants must register no later than 5:00 PM (IST) on, November 22 2021.Registration after the deadline will not be accepted.

Notification of Finalists
 Finalists will be selected on 26th  November itself and notified shortly after completion of the competition.

Time and date 
11 am onwards on 26th November 2021.

The competition will be offline at Activity area 3rd floor, block-45 Sharda University

Dance Club
NATANA WAR- 2021
GROUP DANCE COMPETITION                Entry Fee:500/-
Mode: OFFLINE
Genre: Any FORM 
Number of members in one GROUP can be from 6-12.
 Participants must share their response through the google form.
 All participants should fill their particulars in the Google form link provided in the poster 
The duration of the dance should be between 4-8 minutes for each group.
The time limit would be strictly followed in the marking scheme as well, leading to negative marking if exceeded.
 The dance genre can be Bollywood, Folk, Classical, Western.
 Participants are requested to make aware the organising and coordinating department about the dance style used for proper judging criteria for the same.
The dance performance of each group will be judged on the basis of choreography, originality, expression, costume and overall impact.
All participants are requested to submit their entries along with their registration details before.

Runner up will receive a cash prize of 3000 INR

3) No use of political / religious/ communal comments
4) No usage of unparliamentarily / derogatory language.
5) Musical instruments permitted.

Literary CLub

Clash of Titans

Guidelines:                                Entry feees:100/-                                
The medium in which the participant is allowed to speak will strictly be English, although quotations from other languages can be used. These quotations cannot be more than 30 words long and need to be translated into English. 
For all the personalities quoted, facts, or figures spoken, proper citation needs to be provided. 
Ad-Hominem is strictly prohibited. 
Internet usage, laptops, or mobile phones are allowed, but the speaker is not allowed to carry any written material on to the stage (unless otherwise specified). 
Participants are requested to carry pen or pencil and A4 size sheets with them. 
The decision of the moderator will be final and binding. 
Throughout the debate the participants will be judged on the following basis: 

Coherence in speech.
Relevance in arguments.
Strength of arguments.
Defense of Argument
Strength of rebuttals and responses
Usage of time.
Subjectivity and objectivity.
Logical Consistency.
The event will have two rounds. The first one will be qualifying round in which participant will speak for 3 minutes on the topics which will be mailed to the participant 24 hours prior to the event, from which a fixed number of participants qualify for main rounds. 
In the subsequent round, top four participants face each other in traditional one on one style. 
The finale will follow traditional one on one followed by question and answer round. Last date for registration: 24th November 2021
