About the Programme

B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) Integrated is a five-year undergraduate programme designed comprehensively to enlighten students with the socio-legal facets of the law. This programme encompasses multi-disciplinary subjects like Political Science Sociology Economics Constitutional Law Family Law and Criminal Law. The integrated programme develops student understanding and builds a strong background in the subjects in such a way that they may relate to the social and political aspect of different laws.
The focus of the programme is laid on developing argumentative skills understanding the relationship between the law and society legal drafting and honing critical analytical skills. Students are also encouraged to practice multi-disciplinary analysis of the socio-legal problems for better learning.
In addition the inclusion of experiential learning by means of guest lecturers visits in the parliament jail moot courts internship with top law firms advocates and legal organisations help the students in acquiring the experience to deal with real-world legal problems.

  • PO1: Sound Subject Knowledge: Good knowledge and comprehension of the core information associated with the legal profession.
  • PO2: Communication: Effective Oral and Written Communication
  • PO3: Practical Application Skills: Drafting, Mooting, Client Counseling, Debating, Trial Advocacy, ADR
  • PO4: Critical Thinking: Possess quality of critical thinking by Moot Court and Judgment reading especially minority judgments by applying the principles of scientific inquiry, thinking analytically, clearly, and critically, while solving socio-legal problems. Find, analyse, evaluate, and apply knowledge systematically
  • PO5: Research Tools: Ability to use Research Tools such as Library and e-resources including SCC Online and West Law etc.
  • PO6: Entrepreneurship: Possess relevant necessary required skills for Legal Professionals
