Technovation Hackathon-2 on 25th-26th Jan 2020

Sharda University organized a 24-hour hackathon titled "Technovation Hackathon 2.0” in association with GNIDA on the occasion of the 29th foundation day of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). Students from colleges all across NCR came together to discover innovative strategies on the themes like Smart Citizen & Governance, Smart Waste Management, Smart Security, Safety & Surveillance, Smart Transportation & Smart Energy Systems

As the propagation to  flourish the young minds  School of Engineering and Technology organized the second edition of “Greater Noidas Technovation Hackathon 2” under the able  leadership  of Dean of School of Engineering & Technology Sharda University  ,Dr. Parma Nand Astya , in association with the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) integrated with the occasion of the 29th Foundation Day of GNIDA,to encourage young bright minds to innovate smartest projects.  Hackathon 2.0 witnessed participation from premier institutions and universities across India. More than 200 teams comprising of over 650 students who came together with an aim to ideate and create innovative solutions for some of the critical issues faced by the people living in the Greater Noida region. The themes included Smart Citizen & Governance, Smart Transportation, Smart Security, Smart Safety & Surveillance, Smart Waste Management & Smart Energy Systems.

Shri Deep Chandra Gupta, ACEO, GNIDA was the Chief Guest of the Award Ceremony on 26th Jan 2020. 

The projects were evaluated by an Eminent Jury of 30 members from distinct industries and a prize distribution ceremony was conducted on January 26th, 2020 at the Sharda University campus. Prize worth Rs 4 lakh, with a top prize of Rs 1 lakh, was awarded to the winners.

One of The winners under the theme was of Sudhanshu Sharma, 1st year (Electronics Communication), B.tech Sharda University has won first prize in Technovation Hackathon 2 from greater noida authority by hands of Additional Chief Executive Officer Shri. Pramod Chandra Gupta with cash prize of 30,000 rupees and also got appreciated by the GM of ST Micron in the presence of pro-chancellor of Sharda University Mr. Y.K  Gupta.
