Sharda University Greater Noida Campus organizes 6th Convocation Ceremony

The 6th Convocation Ceremony was organized at Sharda University in which 3159 students of the batch of 2021-2022 were awarded degrees. The event was sparkling beautiful with a distinguished list of Guests of Honours, including Shri Brajesh Pathak (the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh), Shri Yogendra Upadhyay (the Minister of Higher Education of Uttar Pradesh), Shri Kamlesh Neelkanth Vyas(Chairman- Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India), and Dr. Krishna M. Ella (Chairman & M.D. – Bharat Biotech International Ltd.).

On the occasion, the achievers were presented with 29 Ph. D.s, 5 Chancellor's Gold Awards, 76 Vice Chancellor's Awards, 119 Certificates of Merit, and 1 A.K. Gadpayle Award. In recognition of his tremendous contributions to science, Dr. Kamlesh Neelkanth Vyas, Chairman of the Department of Atomic Energy at Sharda University, was presented with an honorary degree on this occasion. In addition to this, as a special guest- Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, and Dr. K.V. SS Sairam, president of Prathista Industries Ltd., inspired the students with their speeches. Congratulating the students, the Chancellor of Sharda University, P.K. Gupta said that the convocation ceremony has a different significance for every student in his life. When a student who is studying succeeds in life, the teacher and the educational institution feel a great sense of pride. It is a matter of most pride for the teacher and the educational institution when the student who is studying achieves success in life. The Pro-Chancellor of Sharda University, Y.K. Gupta, stated that one such area in which we directly contribute to the development of the nation is education. There will be a lot of chances at the global level in the future, and you students should be prepared to appropriately seize such opportunities.
