On 07th April, 2018, the 3nd Anand Swaroop Gupta Memorial National Moot Court competition valedictory session was organized in the premises of School of Law, Sharda University, Greater Noida. The programme became started by sarswati vandana & lighting of lamp by chief guest Honble Justice A.K.Sikri, judge Supreme court of India, Shri P.K.Gupta,Chancellor , Honble justice P.S. Narayan former justice Andhra Pradesh high court. Honble justice Rakesh Tiwari former chief justice Calcutta high court, Dean Jamia Millia and Professor Afjal wani . Dean School of Law Prof. Dr.Pradeep Kulshreshtra, delivered welcome adderss and thanked every team who participated in the moot court and praised everyone for successful organisation of national moot court . Shri P .K. Malhotra former Law secretary also addressed the gathering. Honble Justice A.K.Sikri judge Supreme court of India ,Chief Guest addressed about relevancy of Moot Court in academics as a practical exposure and its importance in future to budding lawyers. He also gave a light about the moot problem based on breakdown of constitutional machinery in the state . Chancellor Shri P.K.Gupta and addressed the young students about hard work, self discipline and how to succeed in life. In this mega big event many teams who came across India participated. Preliminary round of moot court competition was adjudged by reknowned judges and legal expert and semifinal and final round were adjudged by Honble justice Rakesh Tiwari former chief justice Calcutta high court and Honble justice P.S. Narayan former justice Andhra Pradesh high court. Winner team( Amity law school ,Noida) and runner up team(Gujrat national law university) were distributed trophies and certifictes by chief guest. In the competiton the team (Mr. S.Kaushik from sastra university)bagged award for best mooter in male catergory , and the team(Srujan from sastra university) bagged award for best mooter in female category . Best memorial award given to UPES Deharadun. All the dignitaries praised for successful organisation of national moot court event under the leader ship of Dean Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kulshreshrtha .
