Sharda School of Engineering and Technology organized 3rd IEEE International Conference on Computing, Communication, and Intelligent Systems (ICCCIS-2022) on 04th – 05th, November, 2022 at Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India co-sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society. ICCCIS-2022 is a platform for computer scientists, industry experts, and researchers from different corners of the world to present, discuss and exchange their innovative ideas, results, and experiences in the areas of computing, communication, intelligent systems and their applications. Inauguration of two days IEEE conference was held on 4th November, 2022, chief guest of the programme was Ms. Sunita Verma, Scientist ‘G, Microelectronics Development Division, MeitY, India and Mr. Aditya Kumar Sinha Director, C-DAC Patna, India, Dr. Gurjit Singh Walia, Scientist ‘F Defence Research and Development, Organization (DRDO), India, Mr. Sunil Gaba, Executive Director, EY Global Delivery, Services, India, Mr. Amulya Sah, Chief Human Resources Officer, Team Computers, India. Welcoming the guest, Shri. YK Gupta, Pro-Chancellor, Sharda University said “in todays time changes are taking place at a very fast rate so it is important to learn everything and keep yourself updated. After covid, we can clearly see that technology is the future. Advising students, he said, always learn there should be no full stop to learning”. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University, said “Research and teaching, both should progress parallelly and complement each other. He also elaborated on several approaches adopted by the university to achieve this goal”. Professor Parma Nand , Dean Academics Sharda University, averred “this conference is getting bigger and bigger in terms of attracting large numbers of papers; quality of scrutiny while accepting papers and increase in popularity all over the globe. This is a great platform provided to students for learning and updating themselves regarding the technology. Prof. Nitin Rakesh, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, said that “The credit for the successful organization of this conference goes to the highly skilled faculty members and student volunteers. It is the result of long planning, advertisement, and proper execution. ICCCIS-22 creates awareness among our students for new technologies and latest research.” ICCCIS-2022 had received overwhelming response from not only national but also international researchers. Conference received participation of distinguished researchers from more than 30 countries. After stringent review process, 169 quality research papers have been selected for oral presentation in ICCCIS-2022 with an acceptance ratio of less than 21%. The conference had 8 keynote sessions on various recent research areas by eminent speakers from Samsung Research India, Amazon Web Services, India, DRDO, India, and other agencies, universities, research labs from Australia, USA, Spain and Bangladesh during these two days.
