The Vietnam People’s Navy, is the naval branch of the Vietnam People’s Army and protect national waters, islands, and interests of the maritime economy, and also works for the maritime police, customs service. Nation’s sovereignty and activities at sea are the prime tasks of Navy.
Vietnam is the only country in the world which has taken on superpowers like US and China. It is one of the leading armies of the world.
Vietnamese people’s navy was founded on 7/5/1955. So on the 60th anniversary of its founding was celebrated at Sharda University. The program was initiated with Vietnamese national anthem followed by a series of cultural dances and music performance. The finale was flute reciting by Naval Officers. Such type of events boosts the confidence and self-esteem of the students.
Sharda is privileged to host a group of Vietnamese naval officers for the past couple of months.
Sharda was proud to give its students and faculty the exposure of international level. The students
enjoyed and learned the nuances of Vietnamese culture which enrich their intellect and satisfies the appetite of the brain. It not only creates the cosmopolitan environment, but it is an opportunity to appreciate the traditions of another nation.
