Rogan Kingston once said, “A camera is a save button for the mind’s eye” and same is the opinion of the creative students of Sharda University who are extremely passionate about camera, lens and of course, photography.
School of Language and Culture (SOLC) at Sharda University organized a photography contest titled as ‘Campus Diaries’ for the students on the occasion of World Photography Day to encourage the passion of photography among the students.
This photography competition was an attempt to foster the hidden talent of photography in students who were passionate about photography and love to spend more time immersed in the photographer’s vision. Also, it encouraged the students to do something really creative out of their hobby.
SOLC received a huge response from the students coming from different backgrounds and different schools of the Sharda University. Some of the best photographs clicked by students were awarded by an expert panel and the winners were honored with amazing prizes.
The spokesperson of School of Language and Culture, while expressing the views on this photography contest said, “Photography is one of the easiest languages that can be understood anywhere in the world. There is nothing better than photographs to describe a thousand words in a single frame. Keeping this in mind, we conducted this intramural competition with an idea to give all the students a common platform to share the art of photography.”
The photography contest themed as “Campus Diaries” was conducted at Seminar Hall, 2nd Floor, PGDM Building, Block 7 of Sharda University, Greater Noida campus. Participation cost for this contest was absolutely free to encourage more students to participate.
