The resonance of celebration and ability found a face with Chorus Fest, created by Sharda University. Theme set as Space Endeavour, Chorus Fest gave a sneak peak at the glitters of taxing competency of talent at the decks of Sharda University. The core determining factor of the fest was to underline phenomenal talent through a medium of challenging events. The elements of events started on the March 10, 2016 with Hip Hop organized by Hip Hop International, produced by Chorus in association with SAC entertainment, which in every way proved to be a treat to the eyes.
The fest cheered the second day of its life in Sharda with events like Battle of Bands, Rowdies. Gonfle of Gaming, Brand Hunt, Korean performance, Painting, Mehandi and other significant events. Battle of Bands, Rowdies, and a spectacular Korean witnessed an extensive crowd. Gully Cricket and Futsal events also saw massive crowd participation and mercurial excitement. The Big Boyz Theory sparkled the eyes of crowd with modified cars and luxury cars. Rowdies on the other hand was the Sharda version of Roadies (MTV hit series), organized with an aspiration to ignite confidence amongst students, which eventually scratched tremendous excitement amongst the students. A sharp and enchanting performance by a famous Korean band, clouded an international talent abstract in Sharda.
The third day of Chorus Fest started with Nukkad Natak as participants from various universities rocked the drama genre on assorted civic topics like Swach Bharat, Nationalism, Reality of Society, Gender equality and other subjects. Campus Princess 2016 Miss India was one event that celebrated beauty and intellect whereas Sur Sartaj and Prodigy made solo performances on singing and dancing memorable. Rowdies and Mr and Miss Chorus had its final auditions The day silenced itself with power packed performances by Babbal Rai and Jassi Gill who are renowned Punjabi singers and Bollyowood entertainers.
The finale of Chorus Fest was planned to make a bang and it sure did, as Big Boyz Theory casted off atypical and modified cars with its launch. Mosaic Bolts- a premier front war of impressive group dances and Treasure Hunt- a trail of clues left for students to uncover and unscramble the final scramble. Heading towards some of the literary events, Clash of the titans and Just-a-minute cherished attention of quality audiences and made debating on anonymous topics enjoyable and inspiring subjects. Finally, Chorus Fest found its final closure with Kanika Kapoor performing live on her hits, making the students groove in her tunes.
In short the fest was a combination of drama, style, entertainment, literature, music, dance and above all unity as several students from several universities gathered and wrangled skills under one roof with dignity and honor for each other. This is what Sharda University is all about, unity and talent of every world, all under one single roof, learning how to combat competition in the real world.
