I am now going to dole out some style advice that will make you rock the town.

The answer to finding the perfect summer outfit is simple: wear lace and layers, and you can’t go wrong for any occasion! Lace is ladylike, while still making a stylish statement. Lace oozes femininity and by introducing lace into your outfit in any way, you can show some spunk. Lace can be added to any outfit around the neck on the sleeves or probably the entire outfit. You can also go for a lace shrug over a plain cotton t-shirt and cut off denim shorts. All in all, you can have a lot of fun with it.

Along with keeping the sun out, hats add a lot of panache to your look. They can be helpful in extending the time between blow drys and protecting your skin from the sun, the hat really has the unique ability to combine all your interests into one chic, compact package.
I have narrowed it down to five of my favorite hats that are sure to top off your summer wardrobe. Go for a straw bowler hat, cloche hat, an over-sized hat, a snap-back or a floppy brim fedora that almost never goes wrong. Just pair it with a simple attire to give your persona an immediate face lift.
After all, life is all about the details. Little things make big things happen and fashion is no different. Could you imagine outfits with no styling? No jewelry? No touches of individuality? Self-expression would cease to exist. Details allow people to show their souls and make a look all their own.

Go for something flowy made out of cool fabrics like georgette and chiffons. Maxi is very in. It is a great fashion statement as well as perfect for the weather. Try them in bright colors like fuchsia pink or sky blue or neutral tones like beige, black or off white.

Palazzo is another hot new trend this season. It can be worn in any material or color depending on what you want to do with your look. Team up a beige color plain palazzo with your white background printed chinese collar button down shirt for a very clean and sharp look. Else go for a rickshaw printed hot pink palazzos with a mustard kurti for some drama.

Crop tops are back in vogue. Bolero tops in various lengths, especially with asymmetric hemlines, will be a hot fashion statement. Boxy tops and boy jackets will be hot favorites.

The layered-and-flared anarkali suits, so fervently embraced by all Indian women when it comes to ethnic looks, will take a back seat this year. Instead, well-fitted kurtas and straight silhouettes that cut down on volume will take over the fashion scene.
