B.Sc. Environmental Science is a four-year undergraduate programme divided into 8semesters. This program aims to give students the competence in the methods and techniques of environmental science and understand fundamental concepts, principles and processes underlying the field of environmental science, its interdisciplinary nature demonstrates an understanding of a wide range of Environmental techniques (e.g. basic water and soil analysis, environmental microbiological methods and instruments). This program aims to develop critical thinking for shaping strategies (scientific, social, economic, administrative, and legal) for environmental protection, conservation of biodiversity, environmental equity, and sustainable development in students.
The program aims to address the growing need for competent professionals in society for applying most effective management practices drawn from various disciplines to create innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
This programme will make graduates ready to take up higher studies in environmental sciences and to take up careers in the fields of environmental research and learning.
This program is for students who aims to develop value-based holistic and comprehensive learning by integrating traditional and innovative learning practices to match the highest quality standards and become effective leaders in their chosen fields and career
The students taking this programme will have opportunity to take both industry as well as academics (pursue PhD programme) as their career choice. Several job opportunities are available in different sectors which include EIA consultancies, Environmental Labs. Industries, Pollution Control Boards and other government, non-government and private sectors.

The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
