Vice Chancellor (SU 01)

(i) A visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities, teaching and research credentials, and academic record throughout, with a minimum of 10 years experience as a Professor in a University system or an equivalent position in a reputed research/ academic/ administrative organization. The candidate should be less than 65 years of age, having a minimum of 5 years administrative experience at the level of Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor or Director of a reputed university/ institution.

(ii) The candidates with Engineering & Technology, Business Studies, Basic Sciences, and Medical Sciences background shall be preferred.

  • Note: Minimum qualification & experience shall be as prescribed by UGC.

Registrar (SU 02)

A dynamic candidate of less than 60 years of age with a Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution with at least 55% marks along with 15 years of administrative experience, of which at least 5 years should be as a Joint Registrar or an equivalent post, or 5 years of experience as a Professor, along with experience in educational administration. Preference will be given to those who are working as a Registrar in autonomous bodies/Universities.

Professor/Dean of the School/ HOD

(i) Should have at least 10 years post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.

(ii) Must have proven track record of creating excellent differentiators in his/her field of specialization.

(iii) The incumbent should be capable of assuming the leadership role of the School/Department and guide the team of academicians to innovate and develop robust programs leading to high employability of students.

(v) Persons with industrial background with proven capabilities of applying theoretical concepts in product development besides obtaining their graduate and post graduate degrees in high first class from reputed institutions, having a minimum of 15 years’ experience of which at least 5 years should be at senior level as AVP, VP, at devising, designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovation, training, IPR and patents related activities, can also apply.


  • Note: Applications are also invited at the level of Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in the above disciplines & Minimum qualification & experience shall be as prescribed by UGC/Concerned Council.

Other Administrative Positions

1. GM (Project & Planning) (SU 15)

(i) General Manager should have proven capabilities of applying theoretical concepts in the management and administration of civil engineering projects in the field of construction and maintenance of the Buildings Project, power generation, and transmission.

(ii) A dynamic candidate with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university / Institution

(iii) 25 years’ of administrative experience, of which 10 years shall be as Senior Manager or an equivalent post, or

(iv) Preference shall be given to the persons having minimum 20 Years’ of association with Government/Semi – Government/PSU at senior level as AVP, VP, Head (Civil Department).

2. Joint Registrar/ Deputy Registrar (SU 16)

A persuasive candidate capable of leading a team to perform general administrative duties in a constituent school of the University such as registration, enrollment, overall upkeep of the building , student services, counseling , manage budgets , oversee student schedules, Record keeping of employees & students and guardian relations.

For the post of Deputy Registrar:

(i) Uniformly good academic record with a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in UGC pay scales from recognized University / Institute along with

(ii) Nine years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000 and above with experience in educational administration or

(iii) Comparable experience in Research Establishment and/or in an institute of higher learning or

(iv) 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post.

For the post of Joint Registrar:

(i) In addition to the minimum requirement for Deputy Registrar, the incumbent applying for the position of Joint Registrar should have minimum 5 years experience of as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post

3. Executive Engineer – Civil & Electrical (SU 17)

The Executive Engineer should possess expertise in managing multiple projects, Project monitoring, QA/QC, Budgeting for capital sanction, Tendering, Project co-ordination, Resource scheduling & planning, Project Execution, and Materials management. The ideal candidate is responsible for reducing breakdown/ downtime & enhancing operational utility machinery Implementing various systems and techniques for improving the plant operations.

(i) A dynamic candidate with a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering from a recognized university/ Institution

(ii) 15 years’ of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Senior Manager or an equivalent post, or

(iii) Preference shall be given to the persons having minimum 20 Years’ of association with Government/Semi – Government/PSU at senior level as AVP, VP, Head (Civil Department).

4. Assistant Registrar (SU 18)

(i) The incumbent shall be capable of leading a team to perform general administrative duties in a constituent school and Department of the University such as registration, enrollment, overall upkeep of the building , student services, hostel management, counseling , manage budgets , oversee student schedules, Record keeping of employees & students and guardian relations.

(ii) A post graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

(iii) At least 5 years relevant administrative experience in supervisory capacity in a Govt. office/ University/ Technological Institution or an organization of repute.


  • Note: Minimum qualification & experience shall be as prescribed by UGC/Concerned Council.
